This is about a 2 hour drive from [Location]. As soon as you get onto Highway 4, you are on a straight shot. Make the right turn into the [neighborhood] and follow the White and Green signs to [Country Club Name]. Pass the Country Club, and in exactly 1 mile you will arrive at the address which will be on your right. There is a nice log cabin, then to the left is ours–a green and brown, barn-style cabin with a very large parking space. You can fit 4 cars into this parking lot.

Opening:
- Go into the cabin and close all of the faucets, and turn the shower valves off.
- Turn on the water in the storage area under the cabin. You will go down the hill and see a door under the deck.
- Turn the switch on for the furnace, also in the storage area. This is located on the 2nd wooden post which supports the ceiling. To turn control the furnace temperature, the dial is in the hall between the downstairs bathroom and the kitchen.
- Turn on the power on the powerstrips for the TVs (on the floor by the TV).
Closing:
- Clean and vacuum. Laundry! Wash the bedsheets.
- Turn off the power strips for the TVs and turn off all lights
- Turn off the Furnace temperature control in the cabin (all the way to the left), and turn off the switch in the storage area.
- Turn the breakers off for water heater and dishwasher.
- Clean the fireplace and dump the ashes in the dump area next to the cabin and put water on them.
- Turn off the water and the drain pipes. These are also in the storage area under the cabin, on the left side. You will need to open the faucets and water valves. It will fill about 2-3 buckets, and it is okay to leave the valves open or closed when it is done draining.
- Antifreeze time! It is pink and easy to find under the kitchen sink. Flush the toilets first! Put ⅛ cup (under the kitchen sink) of antifreeze in the 3 sinks, 2 showers and the 2 toilets. In the toilets, put it in both the bowl, and the back of the toilets.
- Put the wood dowels in the sliding door and lock both locks on the front door.
- Take your garbage to the [dump name] (if you don’t want to haul it all the way home and toss it). The address is [Address]. It is on the way home from the cabin. Show them the photo of the Membership card on the back page. They let you in and dump the stuff when you show the card.
Notes: Utensils are in the left drawer of the buffet by the dining room table. The bake mixing bowls are in the bottom left cabinet drawer of the buffet. Cooking pans are in the drawer under the stove. Cooking utensils are in a long drawer to the left of the dishwasher, glasses are under that drawer and plates are above the microwave. There are dishwasher detergent pods under the kitchen sink to the right. Snow playing stuff is under the cabin in the storage area to the very back left. It might be behind a bunch of other stuff, due to the lack of usage over the years.
